From time-to-time most small businesses (SMEs) find they could do with some additional support and/or experience with a specific issue that was not foreseen. It’s not that the people are incapable, but rather that there isn’t time to give to resolving the issue, in addition to all the usual activities. Or it could be that the management just require an independent opinion as they face a time of challenge or change.
The ‘Business Development Programme’ is designed to provide business support wherever and whenever your business needs it most.
Once the main goals have been agreed our Consultant acts as a coordinator/mentor for up to 12 months to support and assist the business in any and every way possible.
Acting as a friend and confidante to the MD/owner they work alongside them to provide first-hand, practical assistance as and when required.
Under this Programme our Consultant will:
a)
Devise a schedule of activities that will achieve the goals identified above in the timescale required.
b)
Implement and monitor the activities.
c)
Sit in on the monthly board/strategy meeting to ensure that the company is adequately supported and the vision is progressing according to plan.
d)
Coordinate the use of the time at the company’s disposal i.e. 2 days/month or 192 hours/year of 'hands-on', practical assistance.

How the Programme works for your Business
With so many experienced people able to assist your business, there is a huge pool of talent and experience available.
Throughout the 12 months of support, our Consultant can look at up to 57 areas of the business, and as a result can often identify cost savings and lost cash/opportunities amounting to tens of thousands of pounds!
Typically an individual business is only required to make a contribution of £880/month i.e. £55/hour (+VAT), in return for a 'virtual' Board of some of the country's top professional business people, who are able to both advise on just about any subject and be called in to undertake the required projects in a 'hands-on' capacity.
Unlike employing directors, there is no holiday pay, National Insurance, pension contributions, sick pay or other charges.
We also work with groups of small businesses - for further details please call us.
